About Us

John Fisher’s Cottage is an old stone croft house, built around 1870. It was reconstructed in 1896 when an extension was added to provide the village shop, and the roof was raised to create additional space. Since then, the cottage has been modernised to create a warm, welcoming place to stay, whilst also keeping its original, historic charm. For a cosy accommodation in Isle of Skye, contact John Fisher’s Cottage.

Among all cottages in Isle of Skye, John Fisher’s Cottage and accommodation are located in Kintail, a truly unique and special place where the Atlantic Ocean washes the base of some of the oldest mountains in the world.
